Stockroom Requisition with Barcodes


The Stockroom Requisition Screen is designed to be used with a barcode Scanner.
It has Four Modes of operation.
1) Requisition Inventory Items from the stockroom.
2) Update Inventory Count.
3) Check if an item is on order.
4) Place a Stockroom Order.
In the Requisition Mode , a user will first scan the Employee Name Badge Barcode then an account number Barcode then the stock number Barcode and then enter the quantity.
The Software will decrement Inventory quantity of that item and log the information into the database.
Users can go to a view screen and locate the Requisition Information any items that have been Issued.
In the Update Inventory Count mode , a user will scan the Stock Number Barcode then enter the quantity.
The Software will Over write the current quantity with the quantity entered and log the information into the database.
Users can go to a view screen and locate all the update transaction that changed the inventory quantity. This Screen will display the Old and new Inventory Quantity.
In the Check on Order mode , users can scan the Stock Number Barcode and if there is on open Purchase order the software will display the Quantity On order and the Due Date.
In the Place On Order Mode, a User will scan the Employee Barcode Badge then the Stock Number Barcode and enter the requested Quantity.
The Software will log this information into the database for review by the purchasing personal to determine If this part should be ordered. This helps prevent any errors with writing down the part number.
This screen works with either a wired USB or RS232 Barcode Readers along with a Wireless Real-Time terminal type Barcode Reader.
