To View a Drawing or Part Specification Just Locate the Stock Number and Click View Drawing
Inventory part drawings and specifications sheets can be viewed using the
view drawing function.
The
item drawings and specifications files remain in their folders and
are cross-referenced to the inventory stock number.
Just click "View Drawing" to launch the software application of your
choice.
There are many times that an engineer needs to take a quick look at the
schematic or item specification and this function provides
the ability to do that with a single click.
The software is initially set up with the following drawing viewers:
BMP files open C:\Program Files\Accessories\MSPAINT.EXE
JPG files open C:\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORER.EXE
MAX files open C:\Program Files\IGC\Myriad Capture
Viewer\Myriad32.exe (This is a ORCAD schematic file viewer)
DOC files open C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office\WINWORD.EXE
DSN files open C:\Program Files\IGC\Myriad Capture
Viewer\Myriad32.exe
DWG/DXF files open C:\Program Files\Autodesk Volo View\voloview.exe
(This is a AutoCad file Viewer included with the software
SLDPRT files open C:\Program Files\Common Files\eDrawings2011\EModelViewer.exe
(This is a Solid Works Drawing Viewer)
PDF files open C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat
5.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe (Acrobat Reader 5 )
XLS files open C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\EXCEL.EXE
These software drawing viewers can be changed for each user of the
inventory system
For the 'Demo Download' you may need to change these to match the versions
that are installed on your computer.
