Creating a Warehouse Material Movement Authorization
The software allows the user to create a MMA (Material Movement Authorization)
list of items to bring to the warehouse to be requisitioned with a barcode reader or
the manual issue screen.
There are two methods of creating
a list of parts for issue from the stockroom.
The first method allows the user to search the inventory and add parts to a list. This list can be printed and
brought to the warehouse.
The second method of a MMA is the same as the first however the user is required to
provide account requisition information.
Allowing the user to create a printed list of parts with the bin locations
and barcodes saves the warehouse personal time and prevents errors in number transposition.
There is also an option to Auto Create an MMA or List of Parts from a bill of materials. This is
useful when creating proto-types of new assemblies.
